How to Use Shared URLs

The shared URL feature allows third parties to freely view keyword reports.
URLs can be issued on a website-by-website basis, and two types of permissions can be granted.

Issuing a shared URL

Issuing a shared URL01

You can issue a shared URL using the "Share" button at the top of the tool.

Click "Issue URL" for the website you want to issue a shared URL for.

Issuing a shared URL02

A list of currently registered URLs will be displayed.
Click Issue URL for the URL you want to share.

Issuing a shared URL03

This will take you to the screen for copying the URL.
First, set viewing permissions.
There are three viewing permissions:

  • Viewer
  • Editor

Viewer permissions are literally just viewing permissions, and are useful when sharing reports with people outside your company.
Editor permissions allow you to add and delete keywords and groups registered in the report, as well as add and edit notes, so they are useful when sharing reports with people inside your company.

Next, decide whether to enable password authentication.
If you want to require a password when accessing via the shared URL, turn authentication on.
The password will then be displayed.

If you do not need to enable password authentication, no further action is required.

Issuing a shared URL05

Once you've finished setting up, click "Copy Info."

The shared URL will be copied to your clipboard (and your password, if password authentication is enabled).
Try sharing the URL using a messaging app or similar.

Disabling a URL

If you want to stop users from viewing a report via a shared URL, click "Delete URL."

Disabling a URL

By clicking "Delete URL", the shared URL will no longer be available for viewing.

Important Notes on Handling Shared URLs

When issuing shared URLs, please handle them with extreme care.
In particular, if your competitors learn which websites are targeting which keywords, they may take countermeasures against those keywords, potentially resulting in a drop in sales.

If sharing a URL with someone outside your company, be sure to share it with "viewing permissions."
Also, in the unlikely event that your URL information is leaked, please immediately delete the URL.

Please note that we assume no responsibility for any damages incurred as a result of a URL leak.
